I dont know what all the negative reviews are about. I downloaded the new app, enrolled again and it works, slick as a whistle! Great job, CEFCU!!

At first the system was unavailable. It finally allowed me to re-enroll. Now when I try to login a blank red bar appears at the top of the screen and nothing else. Garbage!
its much improvement than the old app. it works great. maybe some touch ups on the appearance to make it look nicer.
Worst app Ive ever used. Consider transferring your money to a bank that is capable.
IN ORDER TO REGISTER ON THE NEW VERSION YOU HAVE TO USE YOU SAVINGS ACCOUNT NUMBER!! Once I figured out what to do to enroll in the new app, it worked flawlessly. Huge improvement over the previous version. Much easier to use and navigate and has many new features that make finding everything you will need much much easier. Having integrated Touch ID into this version is a huge plus. There was a slight glitch that caused it to show two checking accounts when I only have one and all it took to resolve was a simple phone call that didnt even last 5 minutes. Other than some tweaks to make it a little more visually pleasing it is a huge improvement from the previous version and very happy so far.
This is a much overdue update, but it is very much improved over version 1. I love Touch ID integration and the fact you can see all the detail of each acct and transactions within them. Being able to do bill pay is also great. One gripe I would have is the graphics. Not even sure how you make an app in 2015 that doesnt have retina quality graphics. The whole app appears fuzzy, even though it fits the iPhone 6 screen.
Once I finally figured out my "base" account number, I was finally able to get past the first login screen and recreate my login. That being said, once it got to the security feature setup it closes abruptly every time I start to enter the answer to my second security question. I was tremendously excited about the mobile deposit feature but Ive still yet to access the new program!
This is a huge improvement over the previous version with a lot of neat new features. I love the photo deposit function. That being said, Im not very impressed with the UI. It feels very cheap and clunky. CEFCU needs to check out a few other banking applications such as Capital One, Bank of America, etc. to get an idea of what a good 2015 iOS UI looks and feels like. One huge complaint I have is Touch ID only unlocks the balance screen, you need to use your password for all other functions. What!?!? Since when is a password safer than your fingerprint!?!?
CEFCU has finally made it big time into the app arena. I actually find that the mobile app is now EASIER than the main website, including bill pay and electronic check deposit! Way to go CEFCU!
Does CEFCU even read these reviews? This app seems to be horrible. I have tried all of my account numbers, including my "base" numbers and the extra numbers, I tried using my internet user name and password and nothing works. This is frustrating to say the least. If anyone at CEFCU reads these reviews, they need to address this problem and all of the other problems I just read about. This is ridiculous! If youre going to make an app thats fortified, at least give good instructions for your legitimate customers to access their accounts. I am very disappointed with CEFCU and their technology.
Getting same error as others when trying to enroll. Using iPhone 6 OS 9.0.2. Called Cefcu today to get support. They could not resolve issue and were not aware of problem. Told them to look at these reviews. They are to call me back with solution when they have one. Will update at that time. Call them to report your problems and let them know your device and OS version.
I download this on my phone in June. Never had a problem until today when the login screen did not recognize my user nor my password. When I go to the CEFCU site on my computer , my mobile information works fine. It just doesnt work where it needs to be "mobile". I deleted it off my phone and downloaded the app again. Same problem. So with that being said, Im done with mobile banking. Too much trouble!
Note to CEFCU: Please stop messing around with security questions and implement Multi-Factor Authentication on both your web site and your app, combining something you know (password) with something you have (your phone). What is your plan for migrating to MFA? Now onto the review: I was able to get logged in with the new mobile account. The user interface (UI) and feature set seem good. Im very excited about the ability to deposit via the app, though I havent had a chance to try it yet.
Can someone explain why doesnt the Touch ID work. Its supposed to be simple. You scan your finger, and prepare to be zipped into you account. In reality, I have to enter both my user name and password because the app has problems. #lessthanimpressed
Did not know an app could be so poorly written. cannot access any of the highly-lauded "features" Cefcu is barking about. The design is complete garbage. Works better taking up space on my home screen than an actual app
It can be a little tricky to set up (you need to select/set up mobile banking online first--if all else fails, call Cefcu) but its so worth it. Its GLORIOUS. I flipped out when I stumbled upon the remote checking option (take pic of check to deposit)- makes my life so much easier. Thank you, Cefcu, for this recent update! Theyre ahead of the game for being a private credit union, and I will always stick with after getting stuck with random fees by Chase.
Since starting to use this app I have two major issues with. It does not consistently accept the correct (I triple checked) ID/password combination and the pin login is not always accepted, requiring another full login. They really should have a zero stars option because an app you cant use doesnt even deserve one star.
System has been down and wont let me do anything that has to do with banking on the app.
To start with the good: I can view my balance and make transfers The bad: - The buttons are glitched so I cant set up mobile deposits or payments. The "Agree/Do not agree" buttons literally dont appear - 4 of 5 times it doesnt remember my thumb print so a full sign in is always needed
Wow is this thing clunky. It took me 30 mins to download and set up, only to find that I couldnt find the info I wanted. (When my loan payment is due). I guess Ill stick with PNC for the majority of my banking.
